Guided 16 intermediate knitters through authentic Lithuanian pattern techniques over 8 weeks. Participants completed sweaters featuring regional motifs from Aukštaitian and Samogitian traditions.
Taught sewing fundamentals to 12 complete beginners who created hand-sewn pouches and scarves incorporating traditional cross-stitch embroidery patterns. Each participant finished a wearable piece they designed themselves.
Hosted a 6-week intensive exploring the history and regional significance of Lithuanian textile patterns. 22 participants learned to interpret traditional charts and understand the symbolism woven into each motif.
Taught 10 experienced crafters how to create authentic colors using plant-based dyes – madder root, weld, and woad – the same methods used for centuries. Participants dyed yarn they'll use in their own projects.
